Five songs about love at a distance, dancing in the kitchen and across time zones, recorded between the first record and the second.

  3. 3. Wave Through the Kitchen WindowMy neighbour waters her geraniums at seven and I'm usually rinsing a cup. It's the smallest hello I know.pastoral folk, neighbourly folk3:27
  4. 4. Your Jacket Still Smells of RainI lent somebody my jacket under a bridge in the rain, and I still think about how it felt when they handed it back.warm acoustic, romantic folk3:17

Liner notes

After the first record I thought I'd run out of things to say, but it turned out I just hadn't looked out of the window yet. These five were written over one winter, mostly with the radio on low and the washing-up half done. I still sing them quietly, in case someone in the next room is asleep.
