  2. 2. Corridor Light, Slow Footsteps, HomeA case with a sticky wheel and a ticket in my coat. It's a travelling song for people who aren't very good at travelling.driving folk, hopeful folk3:32
  3. 3. Hold the Hand That Holds the DoorThe sliding doors open and close on another family, and I wanted to hold every hand that held the door. It's the nearest I get to an anthem.folk-pop, warm acoustic3:15
  4. 4. The Stranger Who Walked Me to the GateI was new, my map had folded in two, and a stranger walked me to the gate. I never learnt his name.xinyao-tinged folk, nostalgic ballad3:28

Liner notes

A lot of people wrote to me that year about starting something new, and I realised I had a few songs for exactly that feeling. These are the braver ones, the ones that walk down the corridor with a sticky-wheeled suitcase and hope for the best. I sang them a touch louder than usual, though only just.
