Liner notes
We wrote these two a few weeks apart, both on the flatshare rooftop, one at the very end of a long night and one just as the city was waking up. We slowed everything down on purpose: softer drums, more room for the falsetto harmonies, and guitars that shimmer rather than jangle. We wanted a pair that feels like a single breath, from the red light on the hill to the green glow of the platform. It's the quietest thing we've made, and probably the closest to how we sound when it's only the three of us and a kettle.
