Liner notes
I wrote this one just after sunrise, still wearing my coat, with the laptop balanced on my knees and the fan whirring like a tiny night bus. Usually my songs live in the dark, but this one crept in with the first blue light, so I let the 808s go soft and kept the glitches barely there, like static on a window. I wanted it to sound like the moment you stop being tired and start being home. It's the first thing I've made that feels warm instead of wet with rain.
