Liner notes

A wet year, a wet record. I wrote these during a monsoon season abroad, then finished them back home in the Scottish drizzle, and found they spoke the same language. They hold the red-penned hope of school, a platform, a speech folded in quarters, and a bicycle bell that still rings in the shed.
