Their story
Mo Bai grew up in Chengdu among teahouses and storytellers, and began singing ancient-style ballads in small venues in 2010 after years of reading swordsman novels. His albums 《剑行千里》 (2013), 《故人煮茶》 (2016) and the sweeping 《长河落日》 (2020) built a devoted following for his deep voice and cinematic arrangements. He still tours like a wanderer, writing new songs on the road about swords, tea and old rivers.
Influences: wuxia novels and legends, guqin and erhu folk repertoire, epic film scores, teahouse storytelling traditions
