Their story
Silas spent thirty years as a carpenter in Asheville and only started recording his songs in 2023 after friends urged him to share them. His debut album 'Second Growth' (2023) was a surprise hit among folk listeners, followed by 'Sawdust and Starlight' (2025). He is one of the station's late-blooming newcomers.
