Static Bloom

A Manchester trio blending shoegaze guitars with club electronics. Their songs sound like a dance floor seen through fogged glass.

Their story

Static Bloom formed in 2024 when three friends from a Manchester music course swapped their indie-band gear for synths and drum machines. Their first singles were recorded in a damp garage studio and passed around on late-night radio. They are newly signed and preparing their debut album.

The band

  • Jess Calloway vocals, synths
  • Rohan Mistry drum machines, bass
  • Pip Ashworth guitar, effects

Influences: Shoegaze washes, UK garage shuffles, bedroom electronica, rainy bus-window afternoons, tape hiss
