Their story
Su Man grew up in Kuala Lumpur singing in hotel lounges before moving to Singapore in 2011 to chase a recording deal. Her first EP, 'Half Past Three' (2012), introduced her signature finger-snap groove and husky phrasing. She followed it with the albums 'Slow Tea Hours' (2015), 'Rainy Window Seat' (2018) and 'Honey, No Rush' (2021), earning a reputation for making Mandarin R&B sound unhurried and intimate. In her early 30s now, she is one of the label's most dependable names, and her songs turn up on many an afternoon playlist.
Influences: 90s Mandarin R&B, smoky jazz-club piano, neo-soul grooves, late-night lounge radio, slow-dance love songs
