Their story

The Collective came together in 2025 in Toronto, as four friends jamming in a basement after carnival season. Their first singles "Patio Season" and "Long Weekend Skank" spread quickly through local radio, and a debut EP followed. They are brand new and still playing every small stage they can find.

  • Maya Ferreira lead vocals, rhythm guitar
  • Jonah Whitfield vocals, bass
  • Chidi Eze drums
  • Priya Raman trumpet, keys

Influences: Third-wave ska bands, reggae-rock backyard parties, surf guitar, Toronto's Caribbean carnival scene
