Their story
Born in Kuala Lumpur and raised on karaoke-lounge ballads and church choir, Jiahao moved to Taipei at nineteen and spent years writing songs for others. His 2007 debut 'Rain Still Falls' went unnoticed, but the 2010 album 'Say It Once More' and its key-change title track made him a name in Mandarin balladry. He followed with 'Tenth Floor Window' (2014), 'Old Letters' (2018) and 'Longer Than Night' (2023), each bigger and more orchestral. Now in his late 30s, he is one of the station's best-loved voices of heartbreak.
Influences: 90s Mandarin power ballads, church choir harmony, film-score strings, karaoke-lounge love songs
