Lyrics
The road goes up and I go with it Cold wind on my face Every turn is steeper than the last one But I am in no hurry for the base Gravel under my boots, sky is wide A hawk goes sailing by I've carried heavy things up here Now I'm learning how to fly Climb every switchback, sing it loud Let the mountain hear you now One more bend and one more breath Nothing here is scared of death Climb every switchback, sing it loud At the top there is a little stone wall And a view of every town I'll sit a while and catch my breath And let the sun come down Hey, hey, one step more Hey, hey, I know the score You don't have to be quick You just have to climb Climb every switchback, sing it loud Let the mountain hear you now One more bend and one more breath Every step is a little prayer Climb every switchback, sing it loud Sing it loud Sing it loud Climb every switchback Sing it loud
