Lyrics
I write to you by lantern light A letter for the middle of the night The sea is loud, the sky is wide But you are always on my side I will keep the light for you Shining through the dark and blue Wherever you are, I'll wait for you The light stays on, my love is true I will keep the light for you The salt has stained the paper through Every line says I love you A bottle floating out to sea Will bring this small note back to me I will keep the light for you Shining through the dark and blue Wherever you are, I'll wait for you The light stays on, my love is true I will keep the light for you Come home slow, come home soon Follow the beam beneath the moon I will keep the light for you Shining through the dark and blue Wherever you are, I'll wait for you The light stays on, my love is true I will keep the light for you I will keep the light Keep the light for you
