Lyrics
Early sun on the garden gate Chain is oiled, I will not be late Two wheels turning on the road Light on my back and a steady load Pedal easy, pedal strong Hill is long but I move along One more turn and one more mile Faith in my legs and a little smile Bell goes ring for the walking friend Wind in my face and the lane will bend Bread in the basket for the family Rolling home with the morning free Pedal easy, pedal strong Hill is long but I move along One more turn and one more mile Faith in my legs and a little smile Round and round, the wheel will tell Slow and steady, all is well Father taught me how to ride Hand on the seat and a hand of pride Now I carry the lesson on From the dark of night to the break of dawn Pedal easy, pedal strong Hill is long but I move along One more turn and one more mile Faith in my legs and a little smile Pedal easy Pedal strong
