Lyrics
A man is only as good as his word Say it plain and true Mountain high or valley low I will see it through Word is bond, word is bond Keep walking steady on Word is bond, word is bond Promise kept till the dawn Years go by and the road gets long Still I hold my line What I said when the sun was young Stands in the evening shine Word is bond, word is bond Keep walking steady on Word is bond, word is bond Promise kept till the dawn Little things and big things too Give your word and mean it Heart and hand will carry you Jah will help you clean it Children watch the way we walk Learn from what we do Plant a promise, tend it well It will grow for you Word is bond, word is bond Keep walking steady on Word is bond, word is bond Promise kept till the dawn Keep walking steady Keep walking steady on
