Lyrics
Morning on the pier, the rope comes free Ferry horn is calling over the sea Bags on the deck and a coffee in hand Everybody's rolling toward the land All aboard, hear the ferry horn All aboard, a bright new morn Cross the water, cross the bay Dance on the deck all the way Gulls are circling, engine hums Sailor taps out rhythm on his drums Grandma waves from the window glass Watch the harbour wall go past All aboard, hear the ferry horn All aboard, a bright new morn Cross the water, cross the bay Dance on the deck all the way Hey, hey, wave to the shore Hey, hey, one more time more Hey, hey, wind in your hair Hey, hey, happy to be there Far side shining, here we come Feet are tapping to the rolling drum Step on the dock with a skip and a spin Good day waiting, let it begin All aboard, hear the ferry horn All aboard, a bright new morn Cross the water, cross the bay Dance on the deck all the way
