Lyrics
Got a tape in my pocket, got a pen in my hand Writing out the songs for the best of my band Friday at the corner, my friend's got one too Swap me a tape, I'll swap you Swap me a tape, swap me a tape Hey, hey, play it loud Swap me a tape, swap me a tape Dance with the crowd Bounce on the pavement with a bag on my back Every song is a dance, every dance has a track Little handwritten label, wobbly and blue Swap me a tape, I'll swap you Swap me a tape, swap me a tape Hey, hey, play it loud Swap me a tape, swap me a tape Dance with the crowd Press play, hey! Skank away, hey! Rewind, hey! Do it again, hey! Horns on the first song, bass on the next Every crazy mix makes the whole street flex Share it with a neighbour, and the neighbour shares too Swap me a tape, I'll swap you Swap me a tape, swap me a tape Hey, hey, play it loud Swap me a tape, swap me a tape Dance with the crowd Swap me a tape Dance with the crowd
