Lyrics
Papa's getting older, but he's proud Walking up the hill, singing loud I take his arm, he takes my time Step by step, we're doing fine Step by step, step by step Papa climbs the hill Step by step, step by step We got time, we got time He stops to rest, he tips his hat Says no need to hurry, that is that Neighbours wave and give a cheer Papa dances, the top is near Step by step, step by step Papa climbs the hill Step by step, step by step We got time, we got time Slow is fine, slow is fine Walking side by side Step by step, step by step Papa climbs the hill Step by step, step by step We got time, we got time
