Lyrics
The midnight express is rolling Through the dark and through the rain Got a heart full of morning And a ticket out of pain Every light along the window Is a worry left behind I'm leaving all my doubting On the platform and the line Don't slow down, midnight express Carry me on, carry me on Don't slow down, I've a dream to catch I'll be there by the dawn The wheels are keeping rhythm With the beating in my chest I've done my share of waiting Now I'm ready for the rest Don't slow down, midnight express Carry me on, carry me on Don't slow down, I've a dream to catch I'll be there by the dawn Sing it out, sing it out Every mile is a prayer Sing it out, sing it out Morning's waiting there Don't slow down, midnight express Carry me on, carry me on Don't slow down, I've a dream to catch I'll be there by the dawn Carry me on, carry me on I'll be there by the dawn
