Lyrics
Curtains open, look at that sky Orange and pink going sailing by Alarm clock grumbling, I just smile The sun's been up for a little while Oh, here it comes, here it comes Gold on the rooftops, gold on my toes Sunrise is showing off today Painting the whole street in a gold display Sunrise is showing off, hey hey Throwing out colour in every way So get up, get up, let it shine on you Sunrise is showing off, and you can too Pigeons are dancing on the window sill Coffee is steaming, the kettle's shrill Neighbour in slippers gives me a wave Everyone's glowing, we all feel brave Oh, here it comes, here it comes Gold on the rooftops, gold on my toes Sunrise is showing off today Painting the whole street in a gold display Sunrise is showing off, hey hey Throwing out colour in every way So get up, get up, let it shine on you Sunrise is showing off, and you can too Clap your hands, clap your hands Let the morning know you're here Stomp your feet, stomp your feet Nothing left to fear Sunrise is showing off today Painting the whole street in a gold display Sunrise is showing off, hey hey Throwing out colour in every way So get up, get up, let it shine on you Sunrise is showing off, and you can too Gold on the rooftops, gold on my toes Sunrise is showing off, and everybody knows
