Puddle Jumping Season
“We wrote this after getting soaked walking home from campus and deciding to just enjoy it. The beat is basically raindrops on a window, and the bounce came from us stomping around the practice room in wellies.”

Lyrics
Grey clouds rolling over the rooftops Window's got a drum roll going Yellow boots by the kitchen door Toast is popping, radio's glowing Everybody's grumbling about the weather I'm grinning at the sky Got a bounce in my step and a spring in my heel Watch the water fly Open up the umbrella Open up your day Rain is just the music So let's go out and play It's puddle jumping season Splash, splash, we don't need a reason Sunshine in my sneakers Even when the sky is leaking Hey, hey, let the raindrops fall We're dancing down the street, we're having a ball It's puddle jumping season Jump right in! Bus stop crowd in a rainbow of raincoats Little kid gives me a wink Puddle by the curb like a mirror of blue Bigger than you would think Old man tips his hat and he laughs As I leap across the stream Nobody's in a hurry to be dry When the whole world's a theme Open up the umbrella Open up your day Rain is just the music So let's go out and play It's puddle jumping season Splash, splash, we don't need a reason Sunshine in my sneakers Even when the sky is leaking Hey, hey, let the raindrops fall We're dancing down the street, we're having a ball It's puddle jumping season Jump right in! Clap your hands, clap them on the beat Tap your toes in the street Drip, drop, drip, drop Never gonna stop One more time, everybody now Count it out loud One, two, three, jump! It's puddle jumping season Splash, splash, we don't need a reason Sunshine in my sneakers Even when the sky is leaking Hey, hey, let the raindrops fall We're dancing down the street, we're having a ball It's puddle jumping season Jump right in! Splash, splash, splash Sunshine in the rain Puddle jumping season Let's do it all again
