Lyrics
Up the mountain road we go Mist is lying soft and low Old truck humming, engine slow Morning gold is on the stone Every bend a little prayer Cool wind moving through my hair Hold the wheel and breathe the air Step by step we climb up there Up the mountain road, morning gold Take it slow, take it slow Up the mountain road, morning gold Every turn I hear it so The top is coming, steady we go Women at the market stall Sing the hills awake for all Coffee trees stand green and tall Rise up, rise up, hear the call Up the mountain road, morning gold Take it slow, take it slow Up the mountain road, morning gold Every turn I hear it so The top is coming, steady we go Don't look down, look to the light Mountain teach me patience right One more turn and one more mile Sun is waiting, rest a while Up the mountain road, morning gold Take it slow, take it slow Up the mountain road, morning gold Every turn I hear it so The top is coming, steady we go Morning gold, morning gold Steady we go
