Lyrics

They said turn it down
Said be small, be neat
I put on my brightest shoes
And I hit the street
Heads are turning round
Let them look all day
I was born to shine
And I'm here to stay

Clap your hands, lift your chin
Let the glow begin

Not dimming for anyone
Shining like the sun
Not dimming for anyone
We have only just begun
Hey, hey, hear me now
Not dimming for anyone

They said wait your turn
Said the room is full
I walked in with a laugh
And the room went whoa
Every doubt I had
Turned to glitter dust
In a world of maybe
I'm a yes, I must

Clap your hands, lift your chin
Let the glow begin

Not dimming for anyone
Shining like the sun
Not dimming for anyone
We have only just begun
Hey, hey, hear me now
Not dimming for anyone

Stand up, stand up
Everybody stand up
One bright light
Turns into a hundred

Not dimming for anyone
Shining like the sun
Not dimming for anyone
We have only just begun
Hey, hey, hear me now
Not dimming for anyone

Not dimming
Not dimming for anyone
