Lyrics
Sun on the pier today Ice cream melting fast Pen in my hand I say Dear friends, this holiday's a blast Write it on a postcard Send it home Write it on a postcard Do not roam alone Seagulls steal my chips Sand is in my shoes Band plays on the prom I am dancing, nothing to lose Write it on a postcard Send it home Write it on a postcard Do not roam alone Stamp it, post it, off it goes Everybody sing Wish you were here Wish you were here, hey Red box on the corner Drop it in the slot By the time you read it I will be home, like it or not Write it on a postcard Send it home Write it on a postcard Do not roam alone Postcard, postcard Send it home
