Lyrics
The candles on the piano Are burning very low The crowd has gone to find their coats But I just want to stay and know One more song before we sleep One more for the night Sing it softly, sing it near Hold the lamplight This is the last one, the last one tonight Let it float like the candle light Sing it slow, sing it low This is the last one, and then we go Smoke is curling up the wall The room is warm and still Every voice is quiet now Every heart is filled Nobody wants the music to end Nobody wants to go So we hum it one more time Soft and very slow This is the last one, the last one tonight Let it float like the candle light Sing it slow, sing it low This is the last one, and then we go Close the lid, blow the flame Say the quiet name Of the night that was so kind It leaves a little peace behind This is the last one, the last one tonight Let it float like the candle light Sing it slow, sing it low This is the last one, and then we go And then we go Goodnight
