Lyrics
Old photograph on the shelf Corners curled and gold Faces smiling at the sea Young when we were old Hold the light, hold the light Faded photograph tonight Hold the light, hold the light Every face still shining bright Mama in her Sunday dress Daddy standing tall Summer in the borrowed yard Sunshine on the wall Hold the light, hold the light Faded photograph tonight Hold the light, hold the light Every face still shining bright Time goes by, time goes by Picture stays, picture stays Echo of a laughing day Echo of a laughing day I trace the smile with my thumb Slowly in the lamp Gone is gone but love is here Warm and never damp Hold the light, hold the light Faded photograph tonight Hold the light, hold the light Every face still shining bright Hold the light Hold the light
