Lyrics
First time round I tripped and fell Missed the beat, rang the wrong bell Dust my knees and hold my head Second time I dance instead Try it again, second time lucky Try it again, step up plucky Try it again, hear the horns play Second time lucky, hey, hey, hey Burnt the toast and spilled the tea Missed the bus, so what, not me Everybody gets a turn Second time is when we learn Try it again, second time lucky Try it again, step up plucky Try it again, hear the horns play Second time lucky, hey, hey, hey One more go, one more go Clap your hands, here we go One more go, one more go Steady now and let it flow Try it again, second time lucky Try it again, step up plucky Try it again, hear the horns play Second time lucky, hey, hey, hey Second time lucky Hey!
