Lyrics
Snow on the roof of the signal box One small lamp and a kettle on The tracks go quiet, white and still The signalman waits for the late night train Green light, go slow The snow is soft and the way is clear Green light, go slow Stay close, I'm right here Levers worn smooth by the years A bell rings once down the frozen line Breath on the glass in a little cloud Everyone's safe on the way home Green light, go slow The snow is soft and the way is clear Green light, go slow Stay close, I'm right here Somewhere a train is carrying you Through the white and the hush Someone is watching over the line Somebody knows you're coming Green light, go slow The snow is soft and the way is clear Green light, go slow Stay close, I'm right here Green light, go slow Stay close, I'm right here
