Lyrics
Didn't win a prize, didn't get a call Didn't have a thing to celebrate at all But the sun hit the window and my feet said go Joy walked in and I let it show Hung the washing out and I started to sing Neighbour heard me and she joined right in Nobody asked what the party was for Joy walked in through an open door Oh, I don't need a reason, no Joy walked in, let it in, let it go Clap your hands, tap your feet Happy don't need a reason to meet Oh, I don't need a reason, no Joy walked in, let it in, let it go Bus driver grinning at the morning light Baker's giving buns for the heck of it right Whole street humming the same sweet tune Under a plain old afternoon Oh, I don't need a reason, no Joy walked in, let it in, let it go Clap your hands, tap your feet Happy don't need a reason to meet Oh, I don't need a reason, no Joy walked in, let it in, let it go Some days it's heavy, some days it's light Some days you wake up and it's all right Don't ask why, just say amen Joy is knocking, let it in again Oh, I don't need a reason, no Joy walked in, let it in, let it go Clap your hands, tap your feet Happy don't need a reason to meet Oh, I don't need a reason, no Joy walked in, let it in, let it go Joy walked in, joy walked in Let it go, let it in
