Lyrics
Kettle's singing in the half-light haze Steam is curling up in lazy ways Mug in my hands, it's warm as a hug Cat on the sill gives a sleepy shrug Nobody's talking, nothing's due Just me and the morning and the smell of brew First cup, best cup, sip it slow First cup, best cup, here we go The day can wait, the world can too Good things start with a cup like you First cup, best cup, sip it slow Neighbours' windows lighting one by one Birds are clapping, the day's begun Toast pops up with a golden grin Sweetest quiet I've been living in Nobody's talking, nothing's due Just me and the morning and the smell of brew First cup, best cup, sip it slow First cup, best cup, here we go The day can wait, the world can too Good things start with a cup like you First cup, best cup, sip it slow Pour one more for the one you love Call and answer, the sun above Pour one more and pass it round Happy is the sweetest sound First cup, best cup, sip it slow First cup, best cup, here we go The day can wait, the world can too Good things start with a cup like you First cup, best cup, sip it slow First cup, best cup Good morning, good morning
