Lyrics
Two o'clock, the house is still Little one is awake I walk the floor, I hum you low Rock you for love's sake Hush now, hush now, baby mine Night is long but we are fine Hush now, hush now, close your eyes Daddy's here till sunrise Moon is a lamp on the window sill Tiny fingers hold my thumb The whole wide world is fast asleep Just you and me and the hum Hush now, hush now, baby mine Night is long but we are fine Hush now, hush now, close your eyes Daddy's here till sunrise Echo, echo, soft and slow Down the hall the night winds go Echo, echo, sleep will come Rocking to the bass's drum Your breathing slows, your head is warm Heavy on my chest Two o'clock turns into three And now you are at rest Hush now, hush now, baby mine Night is long but we are fine Hush now, hush now, close your eyes Daddy's here till sunrise Hush now, hush now Daddy's here till sunrise
