Lyrics
Snow is falling softly on the footbridge in the night One lantern in the quiet, one small violet light Footprints fade behind me, the river sleeps below Everything is silent in the falling snow Fall, soft snow, fall on me Cover all the quiet, cover all the sea Fall, soft snow, soft and slow Cover every footprint, let me go The railing wears a blanket, the lamp wears a crown The whole world is whispering, the whole world is down I stand here and listen to the silence gently sing White and soft and hushed and everything Fall, soft snow, fall on me Cover all the quiet, cover all the sea Fall, soft snow, soft and slow Cover every footprint, let me go Cold and calm and white and deep Nothing wakes and nothing weeps Stay a little, watch it fall Soft snow covers all Fall, soft snow, fall on me Cover all the quiet, cover all the sea Fall, soft snow, soft and slow Cover every footprint, let me go Fall, soft snow Soft and slow
