Liner notes

After years of writing about leaving and missing, we wanted a record that looks both ways, to the front steps we grew up on and the new towns that ended up feeling like ours. It has our biggest choruses and our softest lullaby, and it ends with a song that has no point except being happy on a Tuesday. We still write the hook around the choreography first, and after nine years we're still smiling through the whole dance.
