Lyrics
Dust on the road and a sign that hums Pink neon buzzing in the dawn Room number nine with a creaky door The desert is waking up Sun climbs slow over the sand Coffee warm in my hand Neon still on, neon still on Glowing in the morning like a song Desert motel, I'm not going home yet Neon still on, neon still on Cactus shadows stretching long Ice machine is humming low A truck rolls by and the windows shake And I smile, I don't know why Sun climbs slow over the sand Coffee warm in my hand Neon still on, neon still on Glowing in the morning like a song Desert motel, I'm not going home yet Neon still on, neon still on Leave the key, leave the light Somewhere down the road is bright Take the glow with me Neon still on, neon still on Glowing in the morning like a song Desert motel, I'm not going home yet Neon still on, neon still on Neon still on Golden sky, and the neon still on
