Liner notes

After years of writing about distance I finally wrote about arriving. The kitchen is the centre of this record, with its radio, its coat pocket full of flour and its phone lit up on the windowsill. I recorded it live with the band in one room, and the joy in the fast songs is real. Several of these were written for people I had not seen in a very long time.
