Vacancy Sign at the Edge of the Map

by Bramble & Rye

A two-song single for the long road and the old watch, cut during a spring of staying home.

Tracks

  1. 1. Vacancy Sign at the Edge of the MapA dusty dashboard and a swinging pink sign. We wrote it dreaming of motels we couldn't visit that year.road-trip folk-pop, neon singalong2:58
  2. 2. Wind It Up and Wave Goodbye to WorryGrandad's cracked watch lost an hour in the same place every day. It taught us to wave goodbye to worry.heirloom folk, anthemic singalong3:17

Liner notes

We recorded these two in the kitchen with the back door open, sending the files to the band one by one. One is about a pink neon sign at the end of a road; the other is about Grandad's watch that never kept time. Both are about not worrying so much.
