Liner notes

I wrote these on tour, in motels and on a ferry deck, with my little travel mic and a pillow for a vocal booth. Everything on it happens around three in the morning, the hour I know best. It's less polished than the albums and I love that about it. You can hear the air conditioner in a couple of places, and I left it in.
