Liner notes

After a year of motels and ferries, I wanted to write about staying put. This record is full of slow dances in odd places: a wedding hall, a retirement party, a kitchen with the toast left unsaid. I leaned on the church-choir side of my voice more than I ever have, stacking harmonies until the room felt full. It's my love letter to the people who make a small night feel big.
