Slow Elevator Eyes / Sunday Drive

by Veda Monroe

A two-track single of elevator glances and lazy drives, the flirty side of the night.

Tracks

  1. 1. Slow Elevator EyesFourteen floors is a long time to look at someone in a mirror. I wanted the groove to climb with every number.slow jam, smooth r&b3:16
  2. 2. Sunday Drive With No DestinationA full tank, no map, and someone riding next to me. It's the B-side because it's the easy-going one.quiet storm, neo-soul2:44

Liner notes

I put this out between albums because I had two songs that didn't fit anywhere else. One is all eye contact, the other is all open road. I recorded both on the same night, same mic, same blanket on the door. It's a little treat for people who stay up as late as I do.
