After Hours Glow

Five late-night scenes in waiting rooms, laundromats and hallways, glowing softly after the lights go down.

Tracks

1. Waiting Room Window LightPlastic chairs in a perfect row, and a little hope humming in the vending machine. We wrote it for anyone waiting on good news.hushed synth-pop, bedroom pop2:47
2. Midnight Laundromat DaydreamA buzzing neon sign and a spin cycle that sounds like a drum machine. Honestly the most fun we had in a studio all year.dreamy synth-pop, quirky pop2:31
3. Two Hours Past Last CallTwo percent battery, shoes in hand, missed train. It's the one that makes us laugh at ourselves, and it moves faster than the others.night-out synth-pop, driving pop2:34
4. Ice Machine Hum at MidnightA midnight corridor and the lonely hum of the ice machine. We recorded the hum for real in a hotel on tour.dream-pop, melancholy k-pop3:23
5. Slipper Shuffle Down the HallFluffy pink slippers, messy hair, and no one to impress. A cosy little closer to send everyone to bed.cosy pop, dance-pop2:26

Liner notes

After Hours Glow is what we wrote when we were too tired to sleep and too happy to stop. Vending machines, laundromat neon, a missed last train, slippers on a hallway floor. We kept the synths warm and slow and let the choreography take the night off.
