Liner notes

Night Bus Sugar is my after-dark album: snow on the glass, a baby asleep on my shoulder, a yellow bus coming round the corner. I wanted to make something you could fall asleep to and still wake up smiling. Most of the vocals were done late at night in my front room, a whisper from the neighbours, and it gave the whole record a hush I could never have planned.
