Their story
Marcia Dell grew up in Birmingham singing along to her mother's lovers rock cassettes and began performing at local community halls in 2014. Her self-released EP "Kitchen Light" (2015) found a following on pirate and community radio, and albums "Slow Sugar" (2018) and "Sunday Tea" (2021) established her as a go-to voice for gentle mornings. She writes with a small rotating band and keeps her sound warm, simple and sweet.
Influences: British lovers rock of the late seventies, Studio One rocksteady ballads, church gospel harmony, Sunday-kitchen radio
