Liner notes

After Orchard Road people started coming to the shows, and I got scared I would forget how to write small. So I went home for a week, sat on my mother's porch and wrote about what was in front of me: the mail, the swing, the dogwoods. We recorded it in her front room with the windows open, and you can hear a sparrow on the second track if you listen.
