Their story

Marigold grew up in Singapore listening to her parents' xinyao cassettes and started writing her own songs at a community-centre guitar class. Her EP 'Frangipani Afternoons' (2022) was a local word-of-mouth hit, followed by the album 'Bus Stop Songbook' (2024). She is a rising name for gentle, nostalgic singalongs.

Influences: Singapore xinyao campus ballads, parents' cassette tapes, school-assembly singalongs, humid-evening nostalgia
