Lyrics
You said, keep the porch light on Said, I'll find my way back home Years went by like pages turning Still I kept the small flame burning Every night I whispered low I'll be here, I told you so Promise kept, porch light on Promise kept, the night is gone Here I am and here you are Promise kept, you found me where you are Promise kept, porch light on Moths and rain and winter weather Still the bulb and I stayed together Neighbours asked me why I bother I just smiled and said, I'd rather Every night I whispered low I'll be here, I told you so Promise kept, porch light on Promise kept, the night is gone Here I am and here you are Promise kept, you found me where you are Promise kept, porch light on Come inside, the kettle's warm Leave the long road and the storm Nothing lost and nothing late Love knows how to wait Promise kept, porch light on Promise kept, the night is gone Here I am and here you are Promise kept, you found me where you are Promise kept, porch light on Promise kept, porch light on Porch light on
