Lyrics
Down the long hotel hall Carrying my guitar case Every door is shut tight Except one, and a light shines out An old friend sits inside I haven't seen him for years He says "I kept the chair Right here, just for you" Room two twelve, the door's left open Room two twelve, come on in We lost the years, but we're not broken Room two twelve, let's begin We pick up where we stopped No need for a speech The old songs find their way And we play them out of reach Room two twelve, the door's left open Room two twelve, come on in We lost the years, but we're not broken Room two twelve, let's begin The hall goes on and on But we found the light One more song, one more night One more night Room two twelve, the door's left open Room two twelve, come on in We lost the years, but we're not broken Room two twelve, let's begin Let's begin Room two twelve
