Lyrics
Caps are flying in the sun Every race has now been run Hands are shaking, tears are bright We came so far to reach this night Class of tonight, class of tomorrow Carry the joy, and leave the sorrow Sing it loud and sing it strong We have been waiting all along Teachers smiling in the back Parents proud and no one slack Friends who laughed through every test We'll remember you the best Class of tonight, class of tomorrow Carry the joy, and leave the sorrow Sing it loud and sing it strong We have been waiting all along Take the lamp and take the song Take the ones who knew you long The road is wide, the road is yours Open doors and open doors Wherever you may roam There's a light that leads you home Hold it high and hold it near We are all still standing here Class of tonight, class of tomorrow Carry the joy, and leave the sorrow Sing it loud and sing it strong We have been waiting all along We have been waiting all along
