Lyrics
Through the wall I hear your kettle Through the wall I hear your door Five years of nodding in the hallway Never said a word and more Your bike is locked up by the stairwell Your plant is dying by the light I know your cough, I know your slippers But I don't know your name tonight Say hello, say hello It's only two small words, you know Hey, Apartment Four! I've been right next door! Five long years of silence Let's not do it anymore! Hey, Apartment Four! Knock knock on your door! I'm bringing over noodles And I'm asking who you are! You heard my band through the plaster You never banged on the wall Maybe you were tapping your foot Maybe you liked it after all Say hello, say hello It's only two small words, you know Hey, Apartment Four! I've been right next door! Five long years of silence Let's not do it anymore! Hey, Apartment Four! Knock knock on your door! I'm bringing over noodles And I'm asking who you are! Hello! Hello! Hello! Hello! Hello! Hello! My name is Danny, what's yours? Hey, Apartment Four! I've been right next door! Five long years of silence Let's not do it anymore! Hey, Apartment Four! Knock knock on your door! I'm bringing over noodles And I'm glad you're next door!
