Lyrics
Two a.m. and the ward is still A cup of tea on the window sill Steam goes up in the corridor light You've been on your feet all night Here's your tea, warm and sweet Sit down now, rest your feet Here's your tea, you did well Morning comes, all is well Soft shoes on the hall Quiet hands that care for all Take a breath, take a sip Let the gentle moment slip Here's your tea, warm and sweet Sit down now, rest your feet Here's your tea, you did well Morning comes, all is well Rest a while Rest a while Rest a while Warm and slow Here's your tea, warm and sweet Sit down now, rest your feet Here's your tea, you did well Morning comes, all is well Here's your tea Rest a while
