Kilo Meridian

A synthwave dreamer who scores imaginary night drives along empty coast roads. Retro gear, modern heartache, and a tenor that sounds like it was recorded in a parked car by the sea.

Their story

Kilo Meridian started in 2014 as a bedroom project built around a single secondhand analogue synth bought from a retiring cinema organist. The self-released Coast Road Zero (2015) spread through night-driving playlists, and Neon Rearview (2017) added his first sung hooks, wistful and drenched in reverb. Later albums Gated Summer (2019) and Empty Marina (2022) leaned into heartbreak and storytelling, each framed as the soundtrack to a film that doesn't exist. He is now an established name in the synthwave corner of the label.

Influences: Eighties film scores, VHS-era car commercials, coastal night drives, vintage drum machines, arcade soundtracks
